Grief returned once again, surfacing as a separation from a loved one in a harsh way — accusations of things I had not done. The weight of the accusations bent my shoulders. I couldn’t tolerate the animosity and attack.
Once again, I turned inward and questioned the Divine: "Why? Why come into all these forms, only to witness chaos, wars, and endless conflicts within human relationships? Why the hatred, the accusations, and the separation? Why can’t we all be on the Divine’s plane? I’m so tired of the animosity, the hate, the separation…"
The answer came quietly: "Turn inward. Look into your heart. See the Earth and all its beings through your heart — each one unique, each carrying their version of truth, yet all stemming from the same source. Observe the duality within you and in your connections with others. Feel the struggles of each soul; feel their moments of conflict. Each truth holds value, even when it clashes with yours, and all of it — every bit of pain, every clash — is an expression of the Divine.
This is how to harness the power of the Divine, the authentic inner power that remains untouched by duality, conflict, or hostility. All beings, despite the duality within them, are children of the Divine. Look at your children — can you feel anything less than unconditional love for any of them? See yourself as a child of the Divine. Can you love yourself any less for the dualities within you? Radiate your love to yourself, to those with whom you may be in conflict, and to every manifestation of the Divine.
Recognize that infinity manifests as countless truths, including the truths of duality, and that love is the Divine’s truest power. This infinite, unconditional love — this unshakable embrace of all — is how you can harness the Divine’s infinite power to heal and bring harmony to the children of the Divine."
For the first time, I was able to see that the accusations, even though they weren’t true for me, were truth for the other person — their truth, shaped by their experiences. Even in conflict with my own truth, I felt refuge in this vision, a sense of peace amidst the chaos of hurt and blame. I felt grateful for the opportunity to practice unconditional love, even for those who were acting hostile toward me.
